Hello and welcome to the Gosford Public School website. We have worked hard to update this site and we are excited with the new sections that are on the site and planned.

Gosford Public School has a long history of providing high quality education for the families of Gosford and the Central Coast. We have more than 530 students at the school and two Opportunity Classes for gifted and talented students are a feature.

We have a number of special programs in the school and we are proud of our technology program with each room having an Interactive Whiteboard available as well as up to 5 computers,  all linked to the school servers and part of the Department of Education and Training network. We have many computer- based programs available to each student and all students have at least one lesson in our dedicated Computer Lab each week.

Our school has a strong Values Program which involves daily lessons given by teachers following a plan designed by the school. We regularly reward students and community members for kind acts via our S.A.B.O.K (Show a Bit of Kindness) awards. The school has strong mentoring programs which begin with a Ready Set Go program which helps pre schoolers transition to school in Kindergarten.
